- Friday, December 13th: Event set up in Millett Hall and the parlor - getting ready for our guest families!
- Saturday, December 14th: CHRISTMAS SHARING DAY - serving our guest families and spreading some Christmas cheer!!

CHRISTMAS SHARING OF WHEATON WARRENVILLE coordinates efforts to provide gifts of food, gift cards, coats, toys and non-food items to our neighbors in need living within CUSD200. Below are the Volunteer Positions we need filled; Please note that Saturday Volunteer hours are from 7:30 am to Noon:
- Reminder Phone Calls - 12/11 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm - Calls made from the church to remind our families about Christmas Sharing and the time they are scheduled to be at Trinity.
- Reminder Phone Calls - 12/12 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm - Calls made from the church to remind our families about Christmas Sharing and the time they are scheduled to be at Trinity.
- Event Set up - Friday 12/13 - Set up Millett Hall and the parlor for Christmas Sharing.
- Check In - Saturday 12/14 - Greet guests, confirm the # of children in the family, direct guests to the appropriate shopping areas.
- Parent’s Toy Room - Saturday 12/14 - Assist parents with shopping for toys.
- Children’s Shopping Room - Saturday 12/14 - Assist children with shopping for their parents/guardians.
- Wrapping - Saturday 12/14 - Provide wrapping for the gifts the children have chosen.
- Hospitality - Saturday 12/14 - Provide beverages and snacks to our guests.
- Oversee Children - Saturday 12/14 - Be with the children in the church, after they have shopped while they wait for their parents.
- Hablas Español? - Saturday 12/14 - It would be helpful to have a few people who are fluent in Spanish to assist guests who are not fluent in English.
- Food Sorting and Distribution - Saturday 12/14 - This volunteer activity occurs at St John Lutheran Church where our guest families will receive a food box, sundry box, gift card and diapers if needed. **Sign up for Food Distribution will be through ’Sign Up Genius’. Delivery Drivers - Saturday 12/14 - Deliver items to families who do not show up. (Sign Up via Sign-up Genius)
