Guest Speaker: Phil Zielke, founder of Phil's friends
Today it may be difficult to find someone whose life has not been touched by cancer - either personally or through friends and loved ones. Phil's friends is a Christ -centered organization that provides hope and support to those affected by cancer. Three Hope Centers have been established in the Chicago area which are dedicated to providing Care Packages and Cards to those facing the challenges of cancer. There is a Hope Center located right here in Wheaton on Wesley Street!
Phil Zielke, founder of Phil's friends, will be coming to Trinity on February 23 to speak to our Sunday School. We will then have an opportunity to meet Phil during hospitality following the 10:00 service.
Throughout the coming season of Lent, our community will be asked to support Phil's mission by donating the items most needed by the Wheaton Hope Center. Watch for further information in the weeks ahead for specific ways that you can support the Phil's friends mission. For more information check out: www.philsfriends.org
