Join Trinity's NIFB Volunteer Team! We will once again gather as a group to serve at the Geneva Northern IL Food Bank warehouse to sort and pack items for delivery to area food banks, soup kitchens, schools and other facilities providing food to those in need. Trinity has participated in this work for over 3 years and has experienced the joy of working together, building relationships while doing work that contributes to our community in a meaningful way. WORK we do : Sort and pack food items that go out to area food banks, soup kitchens, and schools for families in need. Relationships we build: Those who are available join at a local restaurant for lunch and then go to the Geneva warehouse for a 2.5 hour shift working together on an assigned project. It is a great way to get to know some of the other Trinity members as we work in a team. Who volunteers : Everyone is welcome. If standing for 2.5 hours is a challenge, sitting jobs are available.
