rose windowA holy and welcoming place where all are called to serve in Christ. If you are seeking a church, we invite you to celebrate with us at one of our worship services and may God be with you. - The Rev. Canon Linda Potter, Rector
Welcome to Trinity Episcopal Church, Wheaton. Our community of faith, is made up of people of all ages, each one on a spiritual journey, looking to grow in faith and service. One of the best ways we know to move forward in the journey is to ask questions. In that spirit, we welcome you to this website, designed in the hopes that it will answer your questions about our church, and perhaps trigger some new ones you hadn't even thought about. Know that we are here, 365 days out of the year, eager to join you in your journey, to support you along the way, as together we learn more about God's love, and the difference that makes in our lives.
We would like to welcome you to Trinity Episcopal Church during our historic chapel’s 130th anniversary. There are many events to enjoy beginning with tours of the chapel and concluding with a festive service celebrated by the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, The Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori and the Bishop of the Diocese of Chicago, The Rt. Rev. Jeffrey Lee.  For more information or to make reservations for Celebration events, please see our schedule of events.

This past week I attended a conference in West Hartford, CT. Wednesday evening, after dinner, we had some free time and a woman from Boston and I took a walk through the center of town. It is a vibrant area with wonderful shops, boutiques, restaurants and pubs.

We happened upon a bistro with the words “There Are No Strangers Here, Only Friends You Haven’t Yet Met” painted on the front window. Inside I could see people laughing, sharing a beverage, enjoying conversation. The text on the window caught my attention and I searched for my phone in the bottom on my purse, retrieved it and took a picture of the inscription on the pane.
