Christmas Sharing at Trinity
What is Christmas Sharing
CHRISTMAS SHARING OF WHEATON WARRENVILLE coordinates efforts to provide gifts of food, gift cards, coats, toys and non-food items to our neighbors in need living within CUSD200.
Trinity is a distribution center for 1 Saturday in December each year. Those in need come to “shop” for gifts for their children and kids get to shop for parents. Donations and volunteers are always needed!

Friday, December 12, 2025
- Event Setup (4:00 p.m.) – Help transform the parish into a festive distribution site! Stay after for dinner and fellowship.
Saturday, December 13, 2025 (Volunteer Hours are 7:30 am to 11:30 am.)
- Parent’s Toy Room (7:30 a.m.) – Assist parents as they “shop” for toys for their children.
- Children’s Shopping Room (7:30 a.m.) – Help kids select special gifts for their parents or guardians.
- Gift Wrapping (7:30 a.m.) – Wrap the gifts the children have chosen to surprise their families.
- Childcare (7:30 a.m.) – Supervise and play with children in the church while parents finish shopping.
- Escorts & Runners (7:30 a.m.) – Help families navigate the site and transport items to their cars.
- Parking Patrol (7:30 a.m.) – Welcome guests and help direct traffic safely in the parking area.
- Delivery Drivers (as needed) – Deliver items to families who cannot attend. Please let us know if you’re willing to help with deliveries if needed.
- Spanish Speakers (7:30 a.m.) – Volunteers fluent in Spanish are especially appreciated to assist families who speak little or no English.
Additional Opportunities:
- Toy Sorting (Monday, December 8 – time TBD) – Help sort and organize donated toys before the event.
- Clean Up (Saturday, December 13, 10:30 a.m.) – Help tidy up after the morning’s joyful flurry of activity.
Every role makes a difference — whether you’re setting up, wrapping gifts, or helping a child pick out the perfect present, you’re helping share the true spirit of Christmas with our neighbors in need.

- Check – Made payable to Trinity. Please notate Christmas Sharing on the memo line. Checks may be put in the collection plate or taken to the church office.

- Cash – For smaller donations (maybe involving your children) please use an envelope and notate Christmas Sharing on the envelope.
