As we continue to support the residents of Marian Park and their need for a traffic signal to get across Roosevelt Road safely, we are looking into getting a grant or grants to help pay for that. Possible grant sources include the Target Corporation, the DuPage Foundation and the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters (former owners of Marian Park). If you know someone who is involved in one or more of these groups, please let Maureen Kuhn or Nancy Moore know. The Target grant, for example, has to start with the local store manager and we have not yet been able to set up a meeting with her. So contacts are helpful!
