PRAYER

Praying with others

If you or a loved one would find it meaningful to pray with a member of our clergy team, please reach out to us by emailing pray@trinitywheaton.org.  We also have a ministry that brings communion to homebound parishioners. In the case of an emergency you can call 630-665-1101 and follow the prompts to reach a member of the clergy.

Parish Prayer List

View the Sunday Bulletin for the current prayer list by clicking HERE.

Prayers stay on the list for 8 weeks, and 4 weeks for the faithfully departed; if additional prayer is needed please submit a new request. All prayer requested can be made through the Request Prayer button.

Prayer Shawls

Trinity has an active prayer shawl ministry.  They knit and crochet shawls made to literally wrap people in prayer.  Each shawl is a reminder that they are seen and loved by God and the community of faith.  They also make mini-prayer shawls which are left in places throughout the building these mini shawls are easy to put in a pocket or purse and also help us remember we are connected to one another.  Though they are small, they are a powerful source of  hope and strenght in moments of need.  If you want to join the group: click here.  If you need a prayer shawl for yourself or to give to someone else, or you want to learn about being a part of the Prayer Shawl ministry, email pray@trinitywheaton.org

Places to Pray

While we can pray anywhere, sometimes having a place to help us focus our prayers can be helplful.  In Trinity’s courtyard you will find a labyrinth for walking prayer and a bench in a garden.  Both places are always available to pray.  We are also happy to make the chapel avaialble, upon request for people seeking a place to pray.  You can make requests for space use by emailing pray@trinitywheaton.org
