Shrove Tuesday is a meaningful feast day observed before the beginning of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Traditionally, Christians prepared for Lent through confession and absolution—the word *shrive* means “to absolve from sins.” Over time, this day also became associated with the ringing of the “Pancake Bell,” calling people to confession and to use up rich foods before the Lenten fast. We look forward to celebrating this special day together with pancakes, joy, and community. 🥞✨
