Trinity Church

We invite you to take your First Step

The best way to feel connected at Trinity is through relationships, and the best way to form relationships is through worshipping together, consistent service and community.

Whether you’re interested in finding a place to serve, becoming a member, or just curious to see what we’re all about start by contacting us and completing a New Here form.

Parking

Trinity is centrally located in Historic Downtown Wheaton, a few blocks west of the train station. We do have a small lot accessible from Wesley St. for parking and have lots of street parking available.

Joining us with Kids?

We are blessed to have the privilege of worshipping with children. We also understand that it can sometimes be challenging for children to sit through a worship service. We have a “soft-space” for children at the front of the church during the 10:00 am service. Children are welcome at all our services.

In addition, we offer activity bags for children, which can be found hanging on the coat trees outside the entrance to the church.  If you need any help or directions, please feel free to ask one of our ushers for assistance.

Choir & Bell Choir

Anyone interested is able to join our Music Ministries.

Trinity’s Adult Choir leads the congregation in making a joyful noise during worship on Sundays at 10:00 am. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7-9:30pm at the Parish.

The Bell Choir regularly provides musical offerings as a part of our worship. They meet weekly at 11:30 am to rehearse. They will teach you everything you need to know!

Instrumentalists, we invite those with instrumental talents to share their talents with the community at worship services.

Please contact our Director of Music; Robert Ward for more information or to join.

Worship Ministries

Worship is an opportunity to turn our attention towards God and to open ourselves to the mysteries of faith.  At Trinity, worship leadership is shared by lay people and clergy.  If you feel called to help lead worship, please reach out to the Rev. Kevin Caruso

Lay Eucharistic Ministers (LEMS)

Lay Members assist the Clergy with distributing communion.

Lectors

Lectors proclaim God’s word by reading scripture and the Prayers of the People during worship.

Acolytes

Acolytes help lead worship. Among other things, they assist at the altar, lead processions, light and extinguish candles.

Ushers

Ushers greet people at the doors, provide bulletins, take up the collection, assist during communion, and pay careful attention to the needs of those gathered for worship.

Altar Guild

The altar guild prepares us for worship by readying vessels, linens and vestments for sacramental use and coordinates the selection of altar flowers.
