DuPage United together with its affiliated organizations in Chicagoland (United Power for Action and Justice in Chicago, Fox River Valley Initiative in Kane Count, and Lake County United in Lake County) represents thousands of people across this region.
Reclaiming Chicago, a part of United Power for Action and Justice, was awarded $10 million by the Pritzker Traubert Foundation in 2025 to aid in continuing their work of rebuilding, repopulating and reclaiming core neighborhoods in Chicago’s south and west sides by building and rehabbing housing. Their goal is to replace vacancies, violence, and decades of disinvestment with affordable homes, safe streets, and opportunities for families, especially families of color, to build wealth and equity. To celebrate the latest project of Reclaiming Chicago, please consider joining DuPage United and its affiliates at the ground breaking for a development that will include 125 new homes and green space built within an existing neighborhood in Chicago.
